My dear Mr Muir
Your note of the 13th inst enclosing the "James letter", which I herewith return to you, came duly to hand.
I showed the "James" letter to Vroman & left with him, to consider more at his lesuire, a copy thereof. In talking with him of how James gushed over you in that letter, we both decided that it was best, at present, to work on him on that line. Vroman thought he could easier get hold of the letters by taking advantage of the mood expressed by James in his letter to you. The only thing I dont like is the possible delay in getting hold of him here, still Vroman thinks it best to await his coming here, as he says the letters are undoubtedly here, & that it would not be advisable to broach the subject to him away from the letters. Will keep a close lookout for him. Hope to see you again soon.
Sincerely A H Sellers
