Dear Papa

The fine Goldberg box reached me safely yesterday and everything is in fine shape. The three pineapples are the best ever - I had some for my breakfast this morning. The baby says her candy is "awful good", and Mary is pleased with her's. I see I didnt need to send any list.
Mary expects to leave about the end of the week to

go to her Uncle in Oregon. I wrote to Tom asking him if he could put her on the right train at the [illegible], if she should stop off at Muir. Her father is worried because she must go alone, and knows nothing about changing cars, so wants her to go from here on No. 3 stop off at Muir and have some one see her safely aboard the Oregon train. I thought Tom could do it. I havent heard from him yet.

Buel left for Long Beach last night as he heard that by going back now he would be able to graduate next June.
The weather keeps fine. Come down and help enjoy it. Let me know when you are coming so I can meet you.

Lovingly yours

Helen
