Darling Helen -
I'm so glad that Wanda is so much better, I felt sure that the change complete[illegible] in every way, & the rest & freedom from care & being just a girl again with you would do her a worl[d?] of good. I got two letters from her yesterday, one of them delayed both reassuring. I wish she could stay longer with you, or at least with her schoolday friends in Pasadena, but from her letter I gathered she will leave Daggett before a letter from me could reach her. Continue to watch & pray for perfect health.
Ever your father J.M.
