Darling Helen -
I send $100 with this in two Ex money orders. Let me know when you need more - you must be having a delightful time with Wanda after so long a separation. Be good to her & make her a little girl again as of yor[e?] when we were one family. I think she should have at least six of these free desert healing months. It would be easy to build her another cottage as long & wide as she likes, from which she could make visits to Pasadena & home occasionally. But Alas advice however wise is seldom followed especially these days when children are at the age of all embracing unchangeable wisdom.
Anyhow, in the midst of your joy see that you forget not your work of getting well, & thus make glad the heart of
your affectionate father John Muir
