Dear Mr. Johnson.
I wish I could give you all the magazine stuff you want, but these eventful days are all but barren of everything but distracting cares great & small. Anyhow I never as you know can be counted on for articles to order while many things my mine surpass in interest theological upbringing.
The Goverment seems to have made a great mistake on the Hetch Hetchy question believing the grossest preposterous misstatements in spite of all that nature lovers could say However the Valley will escape damming most likely in our day at least.
Faithfully yours
John Muir
Pinchot ou[gh]t to be ashamed of the false twaddle in the Collier's letter. He surrenders everything to politicians & rich schemers.
