Daggett, Cal. May 6th '08Dear Papa -As I havent heard from you for a few days I suppose you are talking ranch trade with Wanda. I had a long cheery letter from her last Sunday, and Im so glad she is getting along well now. The rest here on the desert will do her much good. Our glorious warm weather is here again and I am enjoying it so - I feel splendid and am as happy as ever. All goes well on the ranch. Mr Van Dyke was asking for you yesterday. He said to tell you that there was "lots of fine warm weather going to waste down here" and for you to come and get some of it.Always yoursHelen04176
