WILLIAM F. HERRINFLOOD BUILDINGSAN FRANCISCOApril 28,1908.My dear Mr. Muir:--I would like very much if you would take lunch with me at the Fairmont on May 6th, the day the Fleet arrives. I have a room from which wo can get a good view of the Fleet as It arrives for anchorage and I would like to have you join me at luncheon,so that we can enjoy the sight as well as some good cheer.I also want to arrange with you for our Mexican trip, which has been postponed much longer than I expected when we first talked about it.Very truly yours,[illegible]Mr. John Muir,Martinez,Cal. 04164
