Daggett, Cal. April 25 -
Dear Papa -
This is another glorious day on the desert, and all goes well with us. I have been out watering my flowers and they all seem to be doing well - some of the geraniums will soon blossom. The blue iris you sent with the other flowers from home, are perfectly beautiful. The buds are opening out so the stem has several new blossoms since reaching Daggett.
The Funks and Van Dykes wish to be remembered to you. When you wrote you didnt tell me what you wanted done with that copy of your "Parks" that was sent you here.
Always yours
Helen
