Dear Papa -
I received your letter telling me the grand news of Hetch Hetchy, last night, and I wanted to cheer too. Oh I'm so glad. And it was good to know poor Wanda is so much better. Now all she needs is a long visit here with me on the desert. Never before, since I've grown up, have I been so perfectly free from all hint of worry or care - I'm grownig happier every day, and younger. The weather is glorious and warm and all goes well. I'm going outdoors now.
Lovingly
Helen
