Dear Louie.
You will see by the enclosed note from Dr [illegible] that all is right as to the clergy. John Swett is delighted & most prof[illegible] in congratulations. He will be present on the 14th I mean to invite San Will, as he is one of our best lovers. I have not been to Monterez, or out of town indeed, as I thought my presence here was required getting ready as to tailor etc. Will be up on the 4 o’clock train Monday. Every yours, John Muir.
