[letterhead]P.O. Sta. B. Feby 29 - 1908My dear Sir,Since coming to Calif. some years since, I've made many excursions in the mountains, and want to make some more - specially in the north part of the state - I find it a perfect inspiration, to a lover of the mountains, to read your articles - I have your work on the mountains, of course, and many magazine articles - I've been told that there are two, or three, other published books by you but I cannot obtain them from book dealers - Would you oblige one who greatly enjoys, and profits by, your work, and through this work very greatly admires the writer of them, with the titles of your other books and the address of the publisher or dealer04075 who handles them?May I ask if you still explore the mountains and if you ever take others along with you??Very Sincerely YoursBelmont Perry
