Dear Mr. Colby:- I am very glad to hear from you that on the wholeWilliam Keith's health is much improved and that if he does not haveany more serious set-backs he will be over in the city soon. I should like very much to be with you on the 5th but Icannot possibly get away. Whatever action the Directors of the Clubtake on the question of national monuments in the Kings River Regionwill I feel sure be satisfactory to me. I propose for membershipin the Club---------M.
