We will give you a comfortable room where you can write and work as you please, an easy horse to ride, and nothing to do that you do not wish to. I long to have you here so that my boys can hear you talk about the flowers, and the birds, and the mountains;as you walk ellizabel about with them. It is very easy to get here now from Los Angeles, or from the North, if you stop Off at Ventura and change cars. Let me Know by letter, telephone, or telephone at any time, and we will meet you.I was very sorry indeed to hear of the death of yoursister.Believe me, with kindest regards and many delight-ful memories of our summer in the Tuolumne Meadows,Yours very sincerely,To:Mr. John Muir,Martinez, Cal.04887
