I'll look up old letters & articles & try to send you all I can find out very soon I'm sorry to see poor Pinchot running amuck after doing so much good hopeful work - from sound conservation going pell mell to destruction on the wings of crazy inordinate ambitionI wonder whither or [illegible] Mr Stotts is willing to sell the copyright of my m't'ns of California He doesn't sell many copies & instead of improving is letting the book run down taking of the gi[illegible] adding no new illustrations etc.[in margin: and by F.H.S.]
