Wiarton, Ontario CanadaJuly 4th, 10Prof. John MuirDear Mr. MuirI wrote you a few weeks after receiving the Book you so kindly sent me - also the pamphlets, all of which I read with very great interest, and pleasure, as I expressed to you in my letter. It has occurred to me that for some reason the letter may not have reached you. Could you kindly let me know whether or not this is so? A post card will be sufficient, as I know that your time is filled with work. I think it was in March that I wrote to thank you. The story of little Strickeen I count among my treasures. Hoping that your efforts to save Hetch Hetchy may be successful I am most sincerely your friendS. M. Brown04827
