[1][San?] Francisco.1760 Pacific [Ave.?]6/17/10[letterhead]John Muir Esq.My dear Mr Muir.-[Mr?] [illegible].- Harold has lately had a very pleasant visit with John Burroughs [illegible] Hudson.- What with his all-important (to him) memory of his Yo-Semite introduction to you.- and his inherited appreciation of those who embrace "All-Nature" in their lives and work.- he writes enthusiastically of his meeting and encloses an autograph of the Burroughs at04799

As it is but three hours from one home to the other between city and country. I am back and forth very often.But aside from the pleasure it would give me to see you and Mr Burroughs in Marin, I [illegible]n something of State importance to advise with you about the third interest I hold on Tamalpais.- If you are to be in town the coming week.
