449[in margin: [illegible] FG.] Martinez, Cal. March 16. 1910Dear Mr Greenslet:The sales of my books are surprisingly large. Thank for your kindness in offering to anticipate payment of balance $812.19 due July 1st. Suit your own convenience in the matter as I am not in need of it at present. But allow me to call attention to the account dated Aug. 31, 1909- in which the balance $317.34 due Jan. 1st 1910 has not yet been received.I think I can send the manuscript of the Sierra journal not later than the end of next monthFaithfully yoursJohn Muir[9?]
