[in margin: F.G.]Martinez, Cal. Feb. 11, 1910—449Dear Mr. Greenslet,I've been looking over a journal of my first summer in the Sierra which, I suppose is the manuscript you refer to in your letter of Jan. 5. Whether it contains anything worth while, or available as you editors say, I don't know. I hope ere long to let you see some of it.We are having a hard fight on the Hetch Hetchy dam scheme. I wish you would come to our help by writing the President & Secretary Ballinger & the Chairman of the Public Lands Committees, if you have not already done so. We must keep protests flying about them thick as storm snow flakesFaithfully yoursJohn Muir8
