Dear old Friend Trout:
I am always delighted to hear from you for as we grow older we cling all the more fondly to lifelong friends. I still hope to see you at the Big Show here. I shall take pleasure in sending you a book to 322-24th Ave. Milwaukee, Wis. I suppose that the book you are writing of the Trout history will soon be published. I shall take pleasure in reading it.
Ever faithfully yours,
John Muir
