My dear Mr. Johnson:
Your letter of the 29th ultimo has been received and placed before the President upon his return from his southern trip. It has not been definitely determined as to whether it would be possible for the President to visit the Yosemite. Your suggestion will be kept in mind, however, and if practicable the President will undoubtedly be glad to avail himself of it.
very truly yours,
[illegible]
Assistant Secretary
