Dear Sir:-
At the stated meeting of the Council of the Academy held October 20, 1902, the following resolution was adopted:-
"That the paper of Dr. Marsden Manson, entitled "The Evolution of Climate," be referred to a committee consisting of Prof.
E.W. Hilgard, Mr. John Muir, and Mr. C. G. Abbot, of the Smithsonian Institution, for its opinion as to said paper's scientific accuracy and value."
