My dear Merriam
I am very glad to learn through Mr. Colby that you are likely to be in the Kings River region this summer. The girls and I will probably be there for a week or two. In any case you must be sure to make our house headquarters and home. We hope all your family will come and the Baileys.
I mislaid or missent the clippings I had selected for you on the miserable sheep question. Here are two recent ones. Let me hear how you prosper. Give my regards to Mrs. Merriam and the girls, and believe me
Faithfully yours,
