Dear Mr. Muir
Thank you very much for sending me the pamphlets which were not forwarded to me and which I have just received, or I would have acknowledged them before. My brother and I had a most successful trip homeward after we left you in the mountains and will always remember the delightful trip
you gave us among your "gardens." I hope you will not forget to make us both members of the Sierra Club before another summer comes, for we are enthusiasts, and prouder than ever that we are Californians since we have seen the Sierra. Hoping you are well and that I have the pleasure of meeting you again soon, believe me -
Very sincerely yours, -
