Thank you very much for sending me the pamphlets which were not forwarded to me and which I have just received, or I would have acknowledged them before. My brother and I had a most successful trip homeward after we left you in the mountains and will always remember the delightful trip

I hope you will not forget to make us both members of the Sierra Club before another summer comes, for we are enthusiasts, and prouder than ever that we are Californians since we have seen the Sierra.
