Dear Willie -
The girls report you sick abed with cold. I hope it is nothing serious & that you'll soon be out again. Take no medicine, keep warm, & read my book & all will be well. Send me a line & let me know how you come on & how Mr Wooster is. I trust you will have a happy Christmas & New Year for a' that. I had a letter from Charlie Sawyer today, he is coming up soon. He is proud of his redwood picture.
Ever truly yours
