Country Lift in America
EDITED BY L. H. BAILEY
Editor's Office, Ithaca, New York
Nov. 15, 1901
Dear Mr. Muir :
It is a great disappointment to me that you cannot write the article for "Country Life." I was afraid that you could not with all your many demands and the calls upon your time. However, I hope that you will bear us in mind and "when the spirit moves" that you will write something for us. We shall always be ready to receive it.
I am glad to know that you were not disappointed in the first number. I hope that it will be a proper medium through which now and then men like yourself can reach the public.
Yours very truly
