We expect to be in San Francisco the end of this week & hope for the pleasure of seeing you during our brief stay there - the address will be the Palace Hotel or care [Mr A.C. Stubbs?] Vice Pres - Southern Pacific R.R. Co It is but a divided family "Harriman Party"

this time - only the two boys with Mr Harriman - myself - for the daughters were too deeply absorbed in their written studies to be interrupted by such a flying trip as this is. Hoping nothing may prevent our seeing you while we are in San Francisco with kindest messages from all including Mr [Clantry?]-Brown who also is of our party - yours sincerely
