My dear Charlie Keeler
Hurrah for Your new book It's capital I've been sending away several copies to friends & am glad to see the newspapers have noticed it well but feel sorry it did not find an Eastern publisher to insure a wide sale & lots of readers I hope you have not parted with the copyright. The poems many of them are good too but you must get them into circulation through the magazines. When are you coming up? I hope you & your wife & little lass are well. I wish you all a Happy New Year.
Ever Yours John Muir
