Dear Johnson
I've been holding your grand telling circular for additional names expected from Parsons. Probably he has sent them to you direct. Drop him an appreciative word now & then He is working very hard, so is Mrs Parsons. Am sorry I shall not be able to join you this month in Chicago & N. Y. for reasons I shall explain when we visit saved H. H'y. next summer. Bade might be urged to go we paying his expenses of course. Colby can't go on account of his land business partners objections against his taking any open part in the fight though he is heartily with us in a quiet way & with Parsons & self furnishes most of needed money The Women's Clubs are being stirred in fine order I'm at work on my circular. The battle looks well & we must win.
Faithfully
