Darling Helen,
Your twin letters just received. You can't write too often but I don't want you to feel that you must write every day except when you are sick - & then only a word like this "Am better". or "All goes well." Or "my bones are getting buried again in new frisky flesh" or "my face is rosy once more like a desert mountain at sundown, & so are the faces of my boy angels." etc etc.
And once a week or even two weeks, a page or double pages letter for which you need no model.
Ever Your devoted father
