Dear Kelloggs Three.

I was just beginning to write for news of you when your letter arrived.
I'm so glad you have enjoyed the breezy Carmel sea & shore.
Here Charlotte is a letter from Dunbar on the last days of my dear sweet cousin Margaret H. Ray Lunam Please return it, when next you write.
We are all well, but I'm miserably overworked in this Hetch Hetchy battle. Please write protests to senators & the President, & get as many others to do so as you can. I think we shall win.
With love all. Mother Father Darling Jean

ever faithfully

John Muir
