Dear Mr Parsons;
Many thanks for copies of your H.H. letters You are stirring up these progressive Oregon Washington folk in fine effective style.
Johnson too is hard at work now with a stenographer in accordance with our letter to him writing letters to senators & members & to the President. He has written "an open leter to the American People" which on the 21st he sent to New York to be typed & sent to the printer He will send it to 200 leading newspapers & to Congress through Sulivan's attorney Loughran.
Things begin to brighten All good wishes for best mountain blessings to both of you
Ever faithfully yours
John Muir
