Let me offer you my warmest congratulations on the completion of your seventy-sixth birthday! In all that pertains to the real thought and work of the world you are still a young man, and long may this immortal youth be yours and ours.
Winston Churchill, the novelist, lunched with me at my home on Saturday. He was full of inquiries about you and hopes to meet you some time when he returns from Santa Barbara.
