Dear Helen:
How how have you & family got through this cold wet grippy weather? We are well hear & glad of the blessed rain. The mud was frozen hard this morning Hope no further damage is done to the orange groves.
Mr Morgan was here this morning about a [sewer?] on the Fraser tract. He said all had signed petition except you & one other who was absent but sent word he was in favor of the work & would sign when he returned. Did you receive the paper Mr Morgan sent? I dont know any reason why you shouldn't sign.
Write quick darling & tell you are well
Your devoted father
