My dear Nr. Muir:
Yours enclosing the Call editorial is just at hand and I was glad to get it for I had not seen it previously. I wrote a reply to it but do not imagine that they will print It. I enclose a copy. Dr.Merriam called the other day and I gave him all the information I possessed and sent him more ammunition yesterday including copies of the photographs which I am sending you under separate coper. I went to the Bay Cities Water Co. office the other day to see what I could find out from them and they gave me several pamphlets and some data which is very effective for us. It has been presented th the Secretary including a strong technical argument establishing that Hatch Hetchy is not the best available supply for San Francisco as Manson would have us believe. I wish you would send me a copy of that letter you received from the Stanislaus Co. I note by to days paper that Manson made his little speech at the banquet in Berkeley last night. The paper does not state that Mr. Keeler was there but I hope so.
I am glad that Helen is better and hope she will improve rapidly.
