Helen and I are [very] glad that we are so soon to see you, and that you are to make our golden country your home.
You had better go direct to San Francisco, recheck your baggage there and take the first train to Martinez. Wire me from San Francisco and I'll try to be on hand. Martinez is only two miles from our house.
Hoping you will have a pleasant journey and that your days will be long in this land of promise, I am
