My dear Mr. Muir:-
It was so nice to have your New Year greetings. I have intended sending you these pictures of our garden with me in them and will not delay longer.
Do come and see us and the garden soon it is really quite attractive and

[we?], as you know, are very much so.
Our Sierra Madres are covered with snow and it is very cold. The a[illegible] deepening?] out of doors and last night almost drove us in.
I hope Helen is very well, please remember me to her and you daughter Wanda whose
new name I have forgotten.
We all wish you a happy New Year and I do hope you will write a great deal, in spite of its making you so thin
I have learned to typewrite so come down and I'll do it for you.
