I hope you will take it as it will mean our hearing about it too.
Remember me to your daughters and good wishes from Marian to you all.
Sincerely yours
Ellie Mosgrove
I have expressed a package to you containing your maps [illegible] to Marian.

325 WEST ADAMS STREET,
LOS ANGELES.
My dear Mr. Muir:.
I have wanted for a long time to write and thank you for your new year greeting and send you one with a large wish tucked in, that I might see you some time during the year,

a visit - in which we could talk and you would again tell me wonderful things. I hear people are trying to entice you down here, remember if you do come, that it will be the great pleasure to have you with us.
I suppose you have heard of Helen's great happiness
and Marian's departure, and I am left alone, so you see you must come down and console me.
The trip you spoke of in Marian's note sounds so interesting, especially so now, as you told us a little about what such a trip would be.
