Darling Helen,

Your letter your reassuring letter came in due Adamana time & I hope for another today. I had a long talk about you with Drs Rattan & Kerr when I paid their bills. They both said that no matter how well you feel you must consider yourself sick for a long time - take no long rides or quick exercise, eat only good food milk, eggs, fresh meat etc & devote yourself to quiet breathing of dustless air. Keep warm & dry etc. The last thing Dr Kerr said as I was leaving was "Tell Helen that if she brings on another inflamation of that lung the

trouble will become chronic or end all.
I saw Cap. Doran who is much troubled about you - so is Keith. The folks here are about as usual. Tell Wanda I've raised a good lot of money & paid up most everything. Had a long talk with F George in Valona. Am settling taxes & trying to sell some lots. May not get away for Adamana much before end of week.
Goodbye Darling Heaven keep you.

Every your loving father
