Dear Mr. Muir:-
We take pleasure in enclosing our check for $73.50, covering the balance due to you on the enclosed statement of sales on "Our National Parks" for the past six months. It is pleasant to see the continued appreciation of this book by the public.
While writing, we take the opportunity to refer to our recent letter to you about your book on the Yosemite. We shall await the outcome of your plans for it with much interest.
very sincerely yours,
[illegible]
Mr. John Muir
