Shelby Sept 16th 04 Mr. John Muir Martinez Cal Dear Sir, I received this day from H. Miller, $51.75, for the Suheran Church. He says that $50.00 is the balance on note, and the $1.75 is for 1 month interest at 74c. He kindles requests that you send him the note and also a receipt for money sent you on the mortgage, as he has nothing to show only the receipts he has from me. He stats this is no way of doing business. Respectfully yours, Francis George. Check no 32 for 51.75 Enclosed P.S. Mr Miller is very exacting at present.
