I am delighted with that part of your letter which tells me of the prospect of the recession of the Yosemite Valley. Your letter is delightful and I have sent it on to the President. Chittenden1s is encouraging and I return it herewith.
I am glad also to know that you are at work on your Yosemite book. Eurrah! Keep it up!
