Dear Gannett:

I was in Manila a little over a month ago, & felt mighty lonely & long-faced when after many inquiries I learned you had gone. Captain Ahern however took me in hand & entertained me right royally, taking me across the Bay & up a mountain into the pure wild forest. Also with Captain Penn up the railway & showed maps etc Met lots of good fellows at the Army & Navy Club. Thanks for Cigars. When are you coming out, this summer I hope. Let me hear from you,

03374

With kindest regards to yourself & Mrs Gannett I am every faithfully
