Mr. John Muir,
Martinez,
Calafornia.
My dear Sir:
I am writing to ask if you would be willing to let me have one of your photographs to use with a sketch I would like to write about you and your work? And if you could send me any printed data about yourself I would return it. If you have no photograph by you perhaps you could tell me where I could secure one. I shall be very much obliged to you for this information.
