Dear Helen;
Here is the log of our slow, huge leviathan of the deep, the Celtic. The sea was so smooth we might have crossed in a conoe. We are having a great time in great London. Yesterday we went out into the country 24 miles and saw 60 acres of Rhododendrons in bloom, a glorious sight. Also went to the famous Zoo and saw the beasts, birds, etc. pictured in that book we gave Allen M. Ray and a thousand more. At night to a big dinner,though all our dinners are big, am getting able appetite.
The weather is glorious beyond description. We hope to start for Paris tomorrow eve. All well. Love to all. Hope you had a good time in H. Hetchy and Yosemite. How you and Wanda would enjoy all this.
Goodbye, darlings,
J. M.
