Dr. Joanna:-
I hope your health is improving with the spring weather. After great hurry in getting necessary w[illegible]k. off my hands I am getting my odds and ends of clothing, instruments etc. I have to take with me on my long trip, and will be off in a few days. We sail on the Gaelic May 29th.
I am writing this line just to bid you

good bye Mary: In a few days I leave home for Yosemite and then east on the fastest train to Boston and N. Y. Our ship The Gaelic sails May 29th.
