SAN FRANCISCO, CAL. March 29 1903
Dear Mr Muir,
I am spending a week in the city with my roommate at school, a true scotch woman, Miss McIntyre, and should like to bring her with me to call upon you some day at your home, providing you are not too busy to receive visitors.
We have been in Los Angeles and spent some days in the Hooker home with Ellie Mosgrove, and together we talked over trails past and

future. We were greatly amused at the judge's article in [Sunset?]. He did give you credit for being of the party but the chief figure of course was His Lordship.
Donald and I are going home to the Mississippi valley for our summer vacation so we shall have none of the glories of the summer feast, for which we were so indebted to you, but we hope to view the wonders of the Yellowstone Park en route.
I shall be very glad of an opportunity of selling you once more but if a call would

inconvenience you in the least this week, please let me know with all scotch honesty—
Very sincerely yours
Anna R. Dickey.
