-, deer, wild cats, coyotes, etc - and many familiar and many strange birds I was not able to stay but three days, but in that time I was out in the woods a good many hours. I counted rings on stumps, but I found no trees more than 125 yrs old. However, I did not wonder far into the deeper woods where the great walnuts are so plentiful.
