My dear Prof Ritter
I received the dollars you sent the other day tho I had no notion you owed me anything but a visit when you were tired with your professional work.
Dr. Merriam is coming up tomorrow Cant you come next Saturday? The Alaska Glaciers no doubt are all right notwithstanding the kind trotting on Natures knee they have been enjoying lately Glaciers know how to take earthquakes men dont.
Come up when you can
Ever Yours Truly
