The paper containing the item that you marked reached us today. I hope and pray that if it be the Lords will your dear little boy will recover.
I know that your hearts are breaking as you watch over your darling who is so ill. and you know how deeply I can sympathize with you all, and I think of [Emilia?] too who is not strong, but I will hope for news of gain & received strength soon.
