Just one word of explanation on the 8th of September we are to have at the Century Club an afternoon given up to "Summer Outings of

One lady is to give us 10 minutes of "Arizona" another the same time to "Alaska". Stil another to the "mountain lakes of California" I conceived the idea that Prof. Muir could if he would make a

complete success of the occasion by giving some of his wonderful experiences of the summer just now ending
My son tells me your husband will not be here on that date.
